Shaneka Feagin is a Nurse Practitioner with over 6 years of healthcare experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery in December 2018. As a Registered Nurse, she has experience in multiple areas, such as long-term care, home health, and cardiovascular step-down. Later, she continued her education at Walden University and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care in May 2024. She is currently a Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed in Alabama and board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

After embarking on her journey and enduring struggles throughout her own Nurse Practitioner school journey, Shaneka decided that she wanted to support Nurse Practitioner students who may be struggling like she did. Shaneka created this blog to document her journey as a Nurse Practitioner and to support Nurse Practitioner students throughout their journey through school. Shaneka posts helpful tips, educational materials, and blog posts to help students navigate through Nurse Practitioner school.
